These rich, fudgy brownies are a chocolate lover’s dream! With a soft, chewy center and a perfectly crackly top, they’re easy to make and even easier to enjoy.

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar (I like to use dark for extra flavor)
4 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour (sifted)
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (sifted)
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups chocolate chips (set ½ cup aside)

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13” baking pan with nonstick spray, then line it with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang to help lift out the brownies later. Give the parchment paper a quick spray too, and set the pan aside.
2. Mix the wet ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Then, add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until everything is well combined.
3. Add the dry ingredients: Sift the flour and cocoa powder into the wet ingredients. Stir in the salt, then gently mix until just combined—be careful not to overmix! Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
4. Prepare for baking: Spread the batter evenly into your prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips on top.
5. Bake: Place the pan on the middle rack of your oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the brownies are just set when lightly touched. They’ll continue to firm up as they cool, so don’t over bake.
6. Cool and serve: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan. Once they’ve cooled, lift them out using the parchment paper overhang, cut into squares, and if you want to get fancy, sprinkle with a little flaky sea salt.
Enjoy these delicious chocolate chip brownies as a simple treat, or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgence!
